Can I rent a Starlink Mini in San Francisco?
SF Starlink Rentals is preparing a local Starlink Mini rental service with pickup and return in San Francisco. You can explore rental dates and daily pricing now. Checkout is currently a test preview; real rentals will open after the kit and pickup arrangements are finalized.
What is Starlink, and where can I use it?
Starlink connects to satellites to bring internet to places with limited cell service. It works best outdoors with a wide, clear view of the sky. Trees, buildings, weather, and network conditions can affect your connection. Check your destination’s coverage before you go.
Do I need my own Starlink subscription?
No. The rental includes the Starlink Mini and an active service plan. You don’t need to buy hardware or open a Starlink account.
Where do I pick up my Starlink rental in SF?
Pick up and return your kit in San Francisco on your selected dates. Your booking confirmation includes the next steps to coordinate the exact location and time. Please allow time before your trip for pickup and a quick setup walkthrough.
How much does a Starlink Mini rental cost?
The preview rate is $25 per calendar day, with a two-day minimum. Pickup and return days both count: Friday to Sunday is three days, or $75. The separate security authorization is $200 at pickup. Your full rental quote is shown before checkout.
How does the $200 security hold work?
A separate $200 card authorization is requested at pickup as security for the kit. It is a temporary hold, not an additional rental fee. We release it after the equipment is returned and checked. Your bank determines when the funds become available again. See the rental terms for details.
Can I use it without an outlet?
The kit needs a suitable power source. Bring an appropriate power station if you’ll be away from an outlet. A battery is not included. Review the rental guide before you leave so you can plan power and placement.
